Welcome to ArtWorks Thumbnail Index Page

Thumbnails 1: Moorish architecture based on Replicated polygons.

Thumbnails 2: Further designs using the Replication tool. Note¹

Thumbnails 3: Miscellaneous graphics. Only a couple of examples here at the moment - I'm hoping to add more in the future. The rainbow image has been achieved with the blend tool and the new variable transparency option.

Thumbnails old:
All apart from Idea for a tutorial were submitted for publication some time ago in the days when RISC OS users could guarantee a regular full-colour magazine delivered to their door. The Nefertiti graphic is probably my favourite to date. Designed principally for a magazine front cover Photodesk was used to enhance the original photograph with Vantage creating the graphic component.

Note¹ Extensive use has been made of the clever time-saving utility..... DrawLots by Rosemary Miskin. This software has been around for many years now but still provides some excellent editable shapes. Matt Bellamy's QuickDraw with its 'drag and drop' method of placing numerous geometric shapes rapidly into an ArtWorks 'canvas' provides an excellent alternative.

ArtWorks

I guess all RISC OS users will be aware of ArtWorks. This has now become the definitive vector drawing package. As some of you will know, I was a former Vantage user but since this package is effectively deprecated I use ArtWorks instead.
